How We Help
In the wake of the devastating California wildfires, over 100,000 people have been displaced, with entire communities reduced to ashes. Our emergency response teams are providing vital aid—shelter, food, and emotional support—to families who have lost everything. Together, we can help them rebuild their lives and restore hope in the face of unimaginable loss.
In South Sudan and India, where extreme poverty and conflict have left many children malnourished, we’ve launched nutrition programs that have provided meals and supplements to 4,000 children. These regions face severe food insecurity, making our interventions critical for the survival and development of these children. Proper nutrition is essential for their growth, health, and future potential.
Safe Water and Sanitation Projects
In East Africa, specifically in Ethiopia and Tanzania, we’ve installed 42 clean water wells, benefiting more than 10,000 people. These wells provide safe drinking water and reduce the spread of waterborne diseases that claim countless lives each year. Access to clean water also means that children, especially girls, can spend more time in school instead of walking miles to fetch water.
Healthcare for Underserved Communities
In remote villages in Nepal and Guatemala, we’ve set up 12 mobile clinics, providing essential healthcare to over 3,000 children and their families. These areas are often neglected by traditional healthcare systems, leaving children vulnerable to preventable diseases. By bringing healthcare directly to those who need it most, we’re saving lives and ensuring children can grow up healthy and strong.
Education Access for Disadvantaged Children
In rural areas of Kenya and Malawi, where education is often out of reach, we’ve established 27 schools, offering free education to over 8,000 children. These schools are more than just buildings—they’re safe havens where children can learn, grow, and dream of a brighter future. By providing access to education, we’re helping to break the cycle of poverty that has plagued these communities for generations.
Disaster Recovery and Rebuilding Efforts
After natural disasters, such as the 2021 earthquake in Haiti and the 2023 cyclone in Mozambique, we’ve helped rebuild schools, homes, and community centers, directly impacting 700 children and their families. These disasters left widespread destruction, displacing families and disrupting children’s education. Our efforts ensure that even in the wake of devastation, children have a safe space to learn and grow.
Empowerment Programs for Girls
In Sierra Leone and India, where gender inequality and child marriage are prevalent, we’ve implemented empowerment programs that have reached over 1,000 girls, providing them with education, mentorship, and life skills. These societies often deny girls the opportunities they deserve, trapping them in cycles of poverty and discrimination. Our programs empower girls to break free from these barriers and lead their communities towards a more equitable future.
Emergency Relief for War-Torn Areas
In Syria and Yemen, where ongoing conflicts have devastated entire communities, we’ve provided emergency food, medical aid, and shelter to over 300 children and their families. These war-torn areas are in dire need of basic supplies, and our efforts are crucial in helping children survive amidst the chaos. Our work ensures that vulnerable children receive immediate relief and a chance to rebuild their shattered lives.
Support for Orphans and Vulnerable Children
In countries deeply affected by HIV/AIDS, such as Malawi and Uganda, we’ve established care centres that support 600 orphans and vulnerable children with food, shelter, and emotional care. These children often face the world alone, with little hope for the future. Our holistic approach ensures they receive the love, care, and stability needed to thrive.
Child Protection Services in High-Risk Areas
In Cambodia and Northern Nigeria, where child trafficking and exploitation are rampant, we’ve rescued over 90 children and placed them in safe environments. These regions are notorious for child exploitation, making our work crucial in protecting the most vulnerable. Our child protection programs give these children a chance to heal and reclaim their lives.
